A graduate from Architecture school Paris-Val-de-Seine in 2010, Malak Mebkhout also continued her studies at HEAD-Geneva where she obtained a Master’s degree in Space & Communication Design in 2013.
Then, she became a teaching assistant in interior architecture Bachelor’s degree. At the same time, she works actively as an independent designer and realizes various projects of scenography and staging. She is one of the 10 Laureates of the Design Parade 9 competition at the Villa Noailles in 2014. In 2015, she won the Delivered Bursaries of the Cantonal Fund of Contemporary Art of Geneva with which she realizes the Piscine(s) series.
In April 2016, Malak moved to Bordeaux, founded Countach studio with Fabien Saura and continues to teach in Master at HEAD-Geneva.
