Hannah Bigeleisen is an artist and designer living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Hannah’s practice ranges from sculpture and painting to lighting design and interior work. Her studio practice is influenced by theories of visual perception, patterns and forms found in architecture, language and everyday structures.
Hannah holds and MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her work has been shown internationally, most recently she has a show forthcoming at PS 122 in Manhattan, NY. She has held artist residencies at The Gowanus Studio Space, BEAM Center in Vermont and ChaNorth in Pine Plains, NY (Summer 2020).
Hannah launched her design studio in 2019 at Brooklyn Designs where she showed her first collection of sculptural lighting objects. Most recently she debuted a new piece of lighting at Collectible Design in Brussels, Belgium.
