Who We Are
Having founded Huskdesignblog, a blog dedicated to furniture design and interior news, here is store/huskdesign, our online gallery.
Our aim is to give as much exposure as possible to young, rising and self-edited designers around the world. We are convinced that the best is always yet to come, that’s why we should all turn and go for contemporary and collectible design. We make purchase from one continent to another possible, it has a cost and helps support the most creative people.
Store/huskdesign is an online gallery gathering unique furniture and home decor. We are committed to provide individuals as interior designers and architects with uncommon and of quality design pieces, directly handcrafted by designers and delivered straight to our clients. We do not promote mass production, but very singular limited-edition and made to order pieces instead.
Quality is our main goal. We’ve carefully selected the best designers, the best products and finishes and will ensure that this vision starts from the purchase and goes to delivery.
COLLECTIBLE FAIR 2020 – March. 5 to 8
For Collectible 2020, and for the first time, design curator Chloé Valette aims to pair seating and lights, so that each piece can benefit from the impact of the other, creating a poetic balance in aesthetics, but also through the association of colors and materials. These associations allow us to discover many young and emerging talents spread over several continents (Europe, America, Asia) highlighting their styles, trends, and also visions of contemporary design.
By this, Husk hopes to trigger desires and curiosities, to make the collectible design much more familiar to the general public as well as to connoisseurs through highly contemporary and daring pieces, thanks to a wide variety of materials and techniques.
On the occasion of Collectible 2020, we are thrilled to announce that design studios Supaform, Gregory Beson, Objects for Objects, Kevin Solis, studio IAAI and Hannah Bigeleisen have designed exceptional pieces on view for the first time.
ART ELYSEES 2019 – Oct. 17 to 21
Art Elysées, a major fair of contemporary and urban art that takes place every year in Paris, was eager to join the line of events ready to give a high-level importance to design and young designers in France.
The fair has appealed to Chloé Valette, founder of Huskdesignblog, to offer an exhibition of contemporary design pieces and collectible design in Paris, for the entire duration of the event.
In the form of a designed dream-like world, and international in composition, Huskdesignblog presents a selection of young emerging designers as well as renowned creatives. Thus illustrating a new era, that of design in the present and its upcoming change, on view furniture and objects gather and connect in a panel of daring materials and forms. Initiating the first contact, contemporary design and its actors offer at Art Elysées an exclusive dialog between current trends and innovations.
